Diagnostics (VDS)

Note

Note

The appearance of the Diagnostics page varies since VIDA has two different views for diagnosis. Which one of these views that is presented depends on the diagnostic protocol the current vehicle is using. VIDA automatically redirects you to the correct view.

This chapter describes the Diagnostics page as it is presented when you are working with a vehicle that is using VDS protocol for diagnostics. This protocol is used in all vehicles on the new electrical platform, starting with XC90 model year 2016.

The Diagnostics tab is enabled when vehicle readout is performed at the Home à Connected Vehicles tab. Please note that the Diagnostics tab is disabled until the vehicle readout is fully completed.
